About Us
The Social Economic Academy (SEA) is a non-profit organization, which conducts open-to-the-public lectures, courses and events, overviewing various economic, social and environmental issues and problems. These activities are designed to promote public debate on those subjects and to encourage community leadership. Our activities target the public at large and social activists in particular.
SEA offers its students both theoretical and practical tools needed to promote social-economic change. Our activities give our students an opportunity to engage in dialogue and to encounter different and unfamiliar sides of the Israeli society. Furthermore, SEA encourages its students to become involved in social leadership and take actions that will bring significant transformations in decision-making and economic reality.
Over the last 6 years since its inception, SEA has directly reached more than 35,000 people of all ages, from all ethnicities and from all walks of life through our activities all over Israel.
